Website
Optimization:
Optimisation for
Search Engines - Search Engine Positioning
& Ranking
Do you own a website,
that never appears in the search engines?
Would you like a high search engine positioning?
Well that is where web site optimisation
comes in. Having designed web sites for
a number of years now, we have gained
a good knowledge of web site positioning,
search engine positioning and web site
optimisation - many of our sites now enjoy
a high search engine ranking.
Primarily We optimise
all sites we design for good positioning
on Google,
as it is the single most important search
engine, as it powers the majority of internet
searches. How did you get to this site
for example, was it through a search engine,
and was it Google?
As a quick example of
what we are talking about try searching
for 'web designer in hyderabad' in a search
engine of your choice, Google, MSN, Hotbot,
BBCi, Freeserve etc... Chances are this
site will be in the top ten.
How is site optimisation
done and how long does it take?
Achieving good search
engine rankings isn't an instant process
and dedicated SEO companies (search engine
optimisation) will spend months researching
and tweaking your website and hence charge
thousands of pounds for their services.
We optimise your site
for your relevant keywords and submit
your website to Google and Yahoo as part
of our design process - i.e IT'S
FREE. Your site is also monitored
and tweaked to maximise you chances of
being found.
It generally takes two
to three months before the changes filter
through into the search engines. Site
optimisation can be carried out on any
existing site and as previously mentioned,
all sites designed are optimised as part
of the design process.
No guarantees
can be given as to where your site is
going to be positioned once it has been
optimised and indexed, but we generally
aim for a top twenty positioning in Google.
Be aware of seo services offered by some
companies charging astronomical prices
for the work and should you be desperate
for a quick, inexpensive seo
solution then try Google Adwords.
Links
Google is always changing
it's algorithm and different on page factors
gain more relevance rather than others
when such changes take place. An important
point to remember is that 'off-page' factors
also affect your rankings - especially
the number of links you have pointing
to your website, so we would recommend
that when your site is live and established
that you actively seek some 'backward
links' to your site.
